　Our research uses pharmacological, behavioral, genetics and electrophysiological techniques to study learning and memory in rodents. We focus on studying the small GTPase Rac (and others) role on hippocampal learning and plasticity.
We are looking for a motivated PhD that could carry a project based exclusively on behavior, pharmacology or electrophysiology, or a combination on these disciplines. An opportunity to link this study to mental retardation is also currently available.
Other responsibilities will be maintaining equipment, keeping good notebook records, writing up data for presentation at conferences, for publication, and for grant application, as well as other tasks as assigned by the PI. Teaching can also be part of the individual career development opportunities if desired.

Minimal education: PhD in related field

Minimum job experience/Qualifications: Experience in any of the disciplines described will be a plus, especially for electrophysiology and genetics.
