Postdoctoral Research opportunity in Department of Medicine at UAB to participate in NIH funded projects related to the role of reactive oxygen species in inflammation, particularly neutrophil activation and acute lung injury. The candidate (PhD or MD), should be familiar with cell culture procedures, mouse handling, standard molecular biology and biochemistry techniques. Experience in ubiquitin/proteasome dependent regulation of the NF-kB signaling cascade would be an advantage. Ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary environment as well as a team member is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
