Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to work in the Chemical Research Laboratory, University of Oxford, under the supervision of Professor Ben Davis. The post is funded by the EPSRC and will be available immediately for 1 year. The project will be probing the ‘naked’ conformations of sugars and is conducted in collaboration with Professor John Simons.

Candidates must have a PhD, or have submitted a thesis before appointment, in Organic Chemistry or Chemical Biology.

We are seeking candidates with expertise in synthetic chemistry (esp. carbohydrate chemistry) and peptide chemistry.
