General Information:    This will be the first FIGO Congress to be held on the African continent and will take place in one of the most desirable destinations in the world today. The South African Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists is honoured to be the local host and is looking forward to your presence at the Congress. The Cape Town International Convention Centre is rated as one of the top international conference venues and together with an excellent planning team we are confident that the XIX FIGO Congress will be a huge success. The scientific content will be managed by the International Scientific Committee. The organizers will depend heavily on as many as participants as possible to submit abstracts to offer a varied, topical and appealing scientific programme where modern and cutting edge knowledge and technology will be presented. While women's health issues are discussed worldwide, they are of special importance and interest in Africa.
